Dear Students, Parents and Members of the GHLS Community,

We are excited to share some significant news regarding the future of our school!

We are thrilled to announce that the GHLS will be relocating to a new facility, beginning with the upcoming school year, 2025-2026.

The new location at the LIFPA Don Bosco School, 7071 Bayers Road, Halifax, offers a welcoming atmosphere and new resources designed to better support a positive learning experience for our students. It will also feature a barrier free access to all classrooms, and modern learning technology which will promote an inclusive educational experience for our students.

We understand that a move of this magnitude can bring a mix of emotions, and we want to reassure you that we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for everyone. We have been working diligently to ensure that the move will have minimal impact on our students and parents, and we will provide regular updates as we approach the opening of our new space.

We plan to host an Open House before the beginning of the new school year, with a date to be announced within the next few weeks. This will be a great opportunity to explore the new location, meet with our school staff, and ask any questions you may have.

We are genuinely excited about the possibilities this new chapter brings for the GHLS community, and we believe that this move will be an important step to continue providing our students with a positive foundation for their success in learning German.
